MY STORY

When I was a little girl I always felt a bit different from other children but I didn't know why.

I worried about things that never crossed other kids' minds. I loved books and was passionate about my eclectic interests. I felt others' emotions and learned to adapt myself to become what they wanted.

I became so good at tuning into what other people wanted from me that I found myself studying for a 'sensible' law degree at Oxford University.

Corporate law firms in the 1990's were tough places for sensitive types, so in my early 30's I left law and trained as a Quest Cognitive Hypnotherapist and coach, a career much more in line with my personal values and skills.

I had two intense and sensitive children, one so different that by the time he was seven years old we’d seen five different professionals trying to best to support him.

It wasn't until I went to a workshop about highly sensitive and reactive people that I discovered a model that answered the questions I'd had not only about my children, but also about myself.

I now use that model as part of my coaching and therapy practice to help other sensitive and intense people overcome what's been holding them back.

My passion is showing people that personality traits they’ve often thought of as weaknesses are actually the keys to their greatest strengths.

...the sense of validation was visceral. I'd never felt so fully seen, understood.

Life's never been the same since.

LET'S TALK ABOUT HOW I CAN HELP YOU

The best way to explore how I can help you is for us to talk.

I offer a free, no-obligation conversation to see whether we’re a good match. During our time together (up to around 30 minutes) we can discuss your intensity profile and I'll share some ideas about how you can overcome the challenges you're currently facing.

Before we begin working together it’s important that I believe I can help you and that you think I’m the right person for you.

I don’t take on every potential client who contacts me. I choose to work with clients who are committed to change, and who understand that they are a crucial part of the coaching and therapeutic process.

In the event we decide we’re not the best match for each other I have a network of excellent colleagues to whom I can refer you.
